Stacey Cooper, LCSW 

Stacey believes that counseling is the process of working towards understanding yourself so you can heal old wounds and hurts in order to move to overall health and happiness. She is a lifelong learner and prioritizes providing ethical and informed care to her clients.

The techniques that Stacey draws from include Protective Parenting, CBT, Play Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. Stacey uses empowerment and strengths based interventions. She draws from intuitive eating principles to provide inclusive care. Stacey is an LGBTQ+ affirming provider and she works with neurodivergent folks. 

Stacey is a compassionate and encouraging Therapist and an attentive listener . Stacey is direct when appropriate to provide honest and helpful feedback.  In sessions, Stacey teaches coping skills and problem solving skills through interactive activities to engage her clients at any age.  

Stacey offers specialized care in depression, anxiety, self-esteem, peer relationships, social skills, behavioral issues, family conflict, self-harming/suicidal issues, eating disorders, child abuse, sexual abuse, domestic violence, anger management, attachment issues,  parenting skills, LGBTQ+ issues and religious trauma.
