Aisha Abimbola, LCSW

Aisha Abimbola is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who earned her Master of Social Work from Boise State University. She works with individuals ages 10 and up, including adolescents and adults, and is passionate about supporting BIPOC, neurodivergent, and LGBTQIA+ communities in navigating life’s challenges with authenticity and resilience.

Aisha specializes in working with anxiety, depression, trauma (including racial trauma), gender identity exploration, women’s issues, relationship concerns, life transitions, OCD, ADHD, and Autism. She brings a culturally responsive and affirming lens to her work, recognizing the importance of each client’s lived experience and identity in the healing process.

Her therapeutic approach is integrative and tailored to each client’s unique needs. Aisha incorporates modalities such as play therapy, trauma-informed care, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and strength-based practices. She strives to create a collaborative therapeutic relationship where clients feel empowered to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences in a meaningful way.

Aisha is dedicated to creating a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where clients can show up as their authentic selves. She believes in meeting clients with unconditional positive regard and working alongside them to deepen self-understanding, build effective coping tools, and foster self-growth.

Outside of the therapy room, Aisha enjoys painting, hiking, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends.
