Nicole Garvin, LCSW
Nicole has been providing counseling services to individuals and families in the Treasure Valley since 2016. She has an extensive history of working with trauma, women’s issues, young adult issues, teens/kids, LGBTQ+ and eating disorders. She is passionate about her work helping others.
It is her life’s calling to empower others by assisting them in working through trauma, life stressors and growing into the best version of themselves. Nicole founded Sugar Pine Counseling in an effort to create a safe, cozy, relaxing space for healing. As owner and manager or SPC, Nicole value’s her clinicians and aims to help them feel supported and relaxed so they can provide awesome services to members of the community.
In sessions with Nicole, she works to provide active listening, reflection, and search for meaning in the issues and concerns you bring to each appointment. Nicole knows that counseling is a collaborative process and will always ask for permission and understanding from you as you move through the therapeutic process with her.
As a therapist, Nicole is open-minded, educational, insightful, playful, and creative. Nicole can be direct when needed but balances that with nurturance and compassion for her clients.
