Samantha Gresham, LMSW

Samantha is a Licensed Master Social Worker with extensive experience working with individuals, couples, and families. In her previous work as a hospice clinician, she has supported individuals as they cope with end of life as well as supporting their families as they experience anticipatory grief and caregiving stressors. She is an educator at Boise State University teaching a sociology course on Death, Dying and Grief. Samantha draws from her experiences teaching and uses tools of education and exploration from her classes in her clinical work.

Samantha believes strongly in meeting people with compassion, dignity, and unconditional positive regard as they navigate their life journey. She has experience working with children, teens, young adults, and adults and she is passionate about providing inclusive care to individuals from all backgrounds and identities. She works to provide a non-judgmental environment that will allow clients to feel the freedom and safety necessary to explore and process their experiences in a meaningful, healing, and productive way. To support clients in achieving their unique goals, she utilizes CBT and ACT and aims to provide a sense of empowerment to clients.
